"Do you need to be referred for this treatment?"
Indiana law requires that your physician refer you to physical therapy.  The Physical Therapists at Select Physical Therapy will work with your physician to determine the best treatment plan for you. Your physician will be kept informed of your progress and will receive written reports.

"Is this treatment covered by my insurance?"
You will need to check with your Insurance Company to determine your coverage.  Many companies cover physical therapy services. A letter of medical necessity may be needed, and we will work with you and your physician to obtain the best possible coverage.

"I've had swelling for years, is it too late to start treatment?"
It is never too late to start Decongestive Therapy. Your swollen limb will become smaller and more manageable with therapy, regardless of other treatments you have tried in the past. Whenever possible the swelling should be treated as soon as you notice it, or as soon as you can arrange for Physical Therapy at Select Physical Therapy.
