At Select Physical Therapy we specialize in the treatment of a wide range of conditions. Our ability to offer not only general orthopaedic rehab, but women's health, oncology, lymphedema, and worker's compensation programs makes us Indiana's comprehensive physical and occupational therapy provider.

Select Physical Therapy differs from other physical and occupational therapy providers by offering individually designed treatment programs which may include:

• A full hour of treatment from an experienced therapist
• Sessions in a private setting
• Manual therapy techniques
• Emphasis on self-management programs and education

We are most renowned for our expertise in Decongestive Physical Therapy for Lymphedema patients. Our program is nationally recognized as one of the first and largest in the Midwest.

Our Decongestive Physical Therapy program for Lymphedema patients combines therapeutic techniques to reduce the amount of swelling in the arm or leg. Therapy is then directed toward teaching the patient the necessary skills to continue by themselves, maintaining the improvement and possibly achieving further reduction. The therapy program consists of the Intensive Phase, during which the patient attends daily treatment sessions at Select Physical Therapy. The Maintenance Phase continues, at some level, for the rest of the patient's life.

Should a patient have severe difficulty with this program it is modified on an individual basis. The therapists at Select Physical Therapy work with each patient to develop and teach an individualized program utilizing all, or if necessary only some, of the techniques. We aim for independence in self care within a reasonable time frame. Family members are welcome to attend sessions and to learn therapy skills.
