Repetitive
motion produces an inflammation process which, over time, results
in chronic pain. This inflammation process produces scar tissue which
creates muscular imbalances, resulting in decreased performance.
IASTM
treatment uses specialized instruments designed to detect and treat
scar tissue. The treatments allow for remodeling of connective tissue
by reintroducing controlled amounts of micro-trauma. The instruments
allow the therapist to detect and treat soft tissue adhesions more
efficiently and effectively than traditional methods.
